Panasonic Lumix 13.2 MP Camera Phone

Panasonic Lumix 13.2 MP camera phone
Panasonic earlier hinted at a possible release of a LUMIX branded camera phone. Now it’s official, with mobile store Softbank releasing it in February as model “001P.” The camera will feature a 13.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and Panasonic’s VenusEngine processor. Photo startup time will be 0.9 seconds. The camera will also shoot high-definition video content, capable of up to 720p resolutions.
Meanwhile, the phone will include a 3.3-inch VGA screen, 300 megabytes of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD), and a slew of the standard network connectivity options, like WiFi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, and GPS. There is no word whether the camera-phone (or phone-camera?) will be released outside of Japan, although initial indications say that it will probably be exclusive to the Japanese market.
